About Ms. Martinez

Hello Polk Middle School Students & Families,

My name is Ms. Martinez and I am the school counselor for the 2022/2023 school year. I received my Master of Arts in School Guidance & Counseling in 2019 from New Mexico Highlands University and my Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing in 2016 from the University of New Mexico. This will be my 3rd year as an APS counselor and I absolutely love my job because I am able to meet and work with such amazing teachers, staff, students and families.

I currently live in Albuquerque with my loving boyfriend and our two dogs. We recently welcomed our first baby girl in August and are so excited about the new addition to our family. In my free time, I love to go on walks with my dogs, spend time with my boyfriend, family and friends, go to the movies, workout, try new restaurants, and travel.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, either by phone or email. I am looking forward to a great and successful school year!

Sincerely, Ms. Martinez
